Duties and Responsibilities

Take professional pictures for specific experiences and/or projects

Work closely with the Creative Team to produce high-quality photographic images

Use photo manipulation software such as Adobe Suite to enhance photos

Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives

Meet prior to photoshoots to gauge needs and expectations

Review sets of photographs and select the best results

Collaborate and keep constant/clear communication with the Creative team

Implement additional projects and tasks as assigned by the CCO

Encouraged to participate in all HoPe Team Events

Partake in meetings with the CCO

Communicate via Slack on a consistent basis

Qualifications

Strong commitment to HoPe’s mission and values

College student or young professional

Approachable and relationship-oriented

Demonstrated interest/experience as a photographer

Flexible to travel to locations as projects require

Energetic, personable, and creative with an ability to relate well to diverse populations

Deadline-oriented and able to take initiative and work well under pressure

Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail, including excellent time management and excellent organizational skills, work effectively in teams, ethical and moral character, strong leadership skills

Proficiency in Google Drive (including Docs, Sheets, and Calendar), Slack, and Adobe Suite

Willing to commit for the whole 2024-2025 academic year

Time Commitment
Varies. Accepted photographers will get to choose which projects they would like to be part of and determine their time commitment.
