Business Development Manager

to expand our client base and revenue.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will own new business development for Phizenix Inc — opening doors, building relationships, and closing deals with clients preferably from Bay Area, CA. This is a hunter role focused on acquiring net-new logos and growing accounts to $2M–$5M+ in revenue, with deep engagement in MSP/VMS-managed programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Identify and open net-new client relationships across technology, semiconductor, and enterprise sectors.
Sell IT staffing and workforce solutions (contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire) targeting $2M–$5M deal values
Navigate and win within MSP/VMS-managed programs (Fieldglass, Beeline, Wand, IQN)
Build and maintain a robust pipeline through cold calls, networking, and referrals
Collaborate with Phizenix recruiting teams to ensure delivery quality and client satisfaction
Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, close, and account growth
Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
5+ years of business development or sales experience in IT staffing
Proven track record of acquiring new logos and growing accounts to $2M–$5M+
Hands-on experience working within MSP environments and VMS platforms
Established network of hiring managers, procurement leads, or CXO contacts in the Bay Area
Experience selling to Silicon Valley clients (tech, SaaS, semiconductor, or enterprise)
Strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate leads independently
Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
NICE TO HAVE
Prior experience at or selling alongside firms
Familiarity with SOW-based staffing engagements
Experience in both direct client and MSP channel sales motions
