About the Role
Branch is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Consultant to join our Business Strategy team as we continue to grow. You aren’t just a technical expert, you are a performance marketing visionary. You will act as a trusted advisor to our most sophisticated customers and globally prestigious brands, helping them navigate the complex world of mobile advertising, Self‑Attributing Networks (SANs), and multi‑touch attribution.

Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert on mobile ad ecosystems, focusing on SANs (Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads, etc.) and programmatic partners.

Audit customer data flows to identify inefficiencies and clean up attribution discrepancies, ensuring data connections between brands and the MMP are accurate and actionable.

Navigate the relationship between brands, ad agencies, and our platform to ensure alignment on KPIs and measurement frameworks.

Translate complex data analysis into high‑impact presentations for performance marketers and senior stakeholders, providing clear recommendations on reallocating spend.

Conduct deep‑drive analyses into campaign performance to identify efficiency gains and provide a roadmap for scaling ad spend sustainably.

Act as Branch Performance Evangelist, articulating best practices and platform benefits to public audiences via webinars, live conferences and blogs.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in performance marketing, mobile growth, or digital media consulting (in‑house or agency).

Deep knowledge of mobile attribution, MMPs, SKAdNetwork (SKAN), ATT, and cross‑platform tracking.

Understanding of Self‑Attributing Networks and ability to validate reported performance against third‑party data.

Analytical rigor: proficiency in SQL, Tableau or similar BI tools to manipulate large datasets and create concise visualizations.

Executive presence with proven ability to influence strategic road‑maps through data.

Inquisitive mindset, enjoyment of data detective work, and passion for creating new analyses, standards, benchmarks and best practices.

Nice to Haves

Experience working at an MMP or a major ad agency in a technical/strategic role.

Background in econometrics or media mix modeling (MMM).

Active participation in the mobile growth community.

Management or strategy consulting experience.

Compensation and Benefits
In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in NYC, is $180,000-199,000. This information is provided for those hired in NYC only. Compensation for candidates outside of NYC will be based on the candidate’s specific work location. The role additionally includes a 10% annual bonus tied to company goals. The salary range provided represents base compensation and does not include potential equity, which is available for qualifying positions. Location Preference
This role does not qualify for relocation or visa sponsorship. Our preference is to hire candidates in a hybrid capacity based in New York, NY. We are also open to hybrid candidates located in Mountain View, CA or Austin, TX, as well as fully remote candidates in select states, including Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Washington, New York, and California.
