Video Editor for Social Media

Supporting a creative team remotely, the freelance Video Editor for Social Media will produce high-quality content for various digital platforms, including managing raw footage, assembling video edits, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.
Key responsibilities

Support senior creative leads in shaping video content for social, digital, and branded channels
Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets within established workflows
Export and encode videos in multiple aspect ratios and codecs optimized for digital distribution

Required qualifications

2+ years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience; internship and freelance experience considered
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and professional footage workflows
Experience editing social-first content and consumer-facing brand content is highly preferred
