At WSB, our staff is expected to have excellent communication skills and possess high attention to detail. To manage their time in a manner that respects both their skill level and project budget constraints, an ability to forge ahead with us is essential.

What you will do

Proficient in Trimble Business Center

Draft construction As‑builts, basic plan sheets and other deliverables as needed

Read and understand construction plans and technical documents, with a strong understanding of design software packages

Work independently to build accurate grading models based on engineering plans, ensuring design intent

Experience with 3D design preferred

Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, alignment and profile design

What You Will Bring

Associate degree in civil engineering, drafting, or a similar degree, or a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent and 3‑5 years of relevant construction experience

Ability to read and interpret design plans and make necessary assumptions while maintaining design intent to create accurate grading and stakeout models

Ability to listen to and understand contractor needs and proficiency in required software to complete assigned tasks

Ability to learn new software as dictated by project requirements and team leaders

Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic

Construction and/or Survey Field Experience

Ability to work 40 hours a week

Ability to work in the posted locations

Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment; occasional travel or field visits may be required to support projects
