About Us: a0.dev is an AI platform that turns app ideas into real, revenue-generating mobile apps. Users enter their idea and our AI designs, codes, tests, and ships it to the App Store, handling everything from infrastructure to deployment in one place. We were one of the first AI mobile app builders in the market and have helped over 300k people bring their ideas to life. We believe the future is one where anyone can invest in their ideas regardless of technical experience, and we’re building a platform that helps people not just create apps, but launch them, market them, monetize them, and turn their ideas into real businesses that reach millions of users.

The Role: We’re looking for a Founding Brand and Content Lead to own how the world experiences a0.dev as we launch our next product and scale from hundreds of thousands of users to tens of millions. You’ll work directly with the founders to define our voice, build our content engine, and turn a0 into a brand that people care about and talk about.

You'll own everything that makes us recognizable: the content, the voice, the founder and team presence on social, our creator and UGC pipeline, and the story we tell when we ship our next product. You'll be deeply involved in finding product‑market fit by talking to users, shaping how we describe what we do, and making content that helps people see themselves in the product. This is a 90‑day contract‑to‑hire role with a clear path to a full‑time founding team seat for the right person.

What You'll Do

Build a0’s voice, positioning, and messaging across the website, product, ads, and everywhere else we show up

Run our organic content engine across TikTok, Reels, X, LinkedIn, YouTube

Ghost‑produce founder and team content, helping the team show up consistently and well

Lead narratives and manage content for our upcoming and future launches

Build a UGC and creator program that turns power users and creators into a distribution channel

Partner with the Growth Lead on ad creative, producing concepts at the volume we need to test and learn

Talk to users regularly and turn what you hear into messaging, content, and product input

Define how a0 shows up at events, in community, and anywhere else our brand lives

Requirements

2+ years building content or brand at a consumer company, or a track record of growing your own audience to a meaningful size

A portfolio of work with real engagement, not just impressions

You have shipped content end to end—concept, script, edit, post

Strong copywriting in a clear, modern, internet-native voice

Lives in or is willing to re‑locate to SF

Bonus Points

You’ve grown a personal account or brand to a meaningful audience

Experience running a UGC program or working with creators

Experience at a consumer or AI startup

Comfort with design and editing tools (Figma, CapCut, Premiere, etc.)

Background in writing, journalism, comedy, filmmaking, or another creative discipline

About the interview
We move fast and respect your time. Our goal is to make a decision within 2‑3 weeks of your first conversation. The full process is remote.

Interview Stages
Stage 1: Intro call with founder (45 min) – A casual conversation about your background, what excites you about a0, and what you’d want out of this role. We’ll walk you through the product and where we’re headed.

Stage 2: Working session (up to 1 hour) – We’ll dig into 2‑3 pieces of content or campaigns you’ve shipped end to end, then walk through a real challenge we’re working on at a0 (like positioning the new product, or a content concept for launch) and hear how you’d approach it.

Stage 3: Final interview with a team member / advisor (1 hour) – A final conversation to get another perspective for both sides.

We may schedule one additional follow‑up call before making a decision. References are requested in parallel. We’re happy to share feedback if you’d like it.
