This role owns downstream activities—including product launches, campaigns, messaging, and sales enablement—ensuring they are regionally relevant, commercially effective, and aligned with customer needs across biotech, pharma, and academic markets.This role partners closely with global marketing, sales, product management, and commercial operations to ensure strong go-to-market execution throughout the product lifecycle.What You’ll DoRegional Go-to-Market & Campaign ExecutionLead regional downstream marketing strategy and execution for assigned product portfolios (Consumables and Instruments)Localise global messaging, value propositions, and campaigns to reflect regional market dynamics, customer segments, and language requirementsDevelop and manage integrated regional campaign plans spanning digital marketing, events, and provide support for marketing activities with channel partnersSupport regional promotions, positioning, and channel strategies in partnership with commercial enablement and leadershipIdentify key regional organizations and establish relevant relationships/partnerships/thought leadership sharing to extend reach in specific geographic targetsProduct Launch & Lifecycle SupportWork side-by-side with Global Marketing to plan and execute regional product launches, including launch readiness, timelines, and cross-functional coordinationDevelop and localize launch materials (sales tools, web content, collateral, training)Sales Enablement & Commercial SupportPartner with regional sales leadership and enablement to align marketing priorities with revenue goalsDevelop sales enablement tools such as presentations, battlecards, application notes, and competitive positioningSupport field marketing activities, including trade shows, workshops, roadshows, and customer eventsAssist with training sales teams on new products, value propositions, and campaign messagingCustomer & Market InsightsGather and synthesize regional customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trendsTranslate customer feedback into actionable recommendations for upstream marketing and product managementMonitor performance metrics (leads, pipeline contribution, conversion) and optimize programs accordinglyCross-Functional CollaborationAct as the regional marketing liaison between global marketing, product management, sales, and commercial operationsEnsure compliance with regulatory, legal, and brand guidelines across all regional marketing activitiesManage external agencies and regional vendors as neededWhat You Will BringBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field3-5 years of marketing experience in life sciences, diagnostics, biopharma tools, or laboratory equipmentProven experience in downstream or commercial marketing, product launches, and campaign executionStrong understanding of life sciences markets (academic, biotech, pharma, clinical, or industrial)Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with sales teams and influence without authorityExcellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skillsPreferredExperience with both consumables and capital instrumentsFamiliarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo)Experience working in a matrixed, global organizationKey CompetenciesCommercial mindset with strong execution focusCustomer-centric and data-driven decision makingAbility to simplify complex scientific concepts into compelling value propositionsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working across regions, cultures, and time zonesTravelThis position will be based in Manchester, England with travel to Cambridge, England once per month for 3-4 days per trip.
