Title: Marketing Director


Position Summary: The Marketing Director is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for driving demand generation, pipeline growth, and brand visibility for our retail inventory solutions business. This role owns end-to-end marketing strategy and execution—from campaign development and content creation to analytics and operations—while partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate blends creativity, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence in a fast-paced growth environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth

  • Build and execute integrated campaigns that generate qualified leads and pipeline.
  • Own digital marketing strategy (SEO, email, social, website optimization).
  • Manage lead nurturing, funnel performance, and ROI optimization.


Product, Content & Brand Marketing

  • Develop compelling messaging and value propositions across Barcode, RFID, and related solutions.
  • Create sales enablement assets (product sheets, case studies, decks, competitive materials, videos).
  • Lead product launches and translate market and customer insights into positioning and content.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across channels, verticals, and touchpoints.


Analytics, Operations & Events

  • Build KPIs and dashboards to track marketing performance.
  • Manage marketing technology stack (CRM, automation, analytics).
  • Plan and execute trade shows, webinars, conferences, and customer events with measurable ROI.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity.


Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success on GTM strategy, messaging alignment, and lead handoff.
  • Manage agencies, contractors, and creative partners.

Experience/Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience (SaaS, retail tech, or enterprise software preferred)
  • Proven success driving demand generation and pipeline growth
  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Microsoft CRM, Marketo)

  • Increased qualified leads and marketing-sourced pipeline
  • Clear, differentiated messaging and refreshed collateral
  • Consolidated brand narrative across solution verticals

Work Ownership & Representation

  • Employees are hired based on their individual qualifications, including education, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities of the role. As such, the duties and responsibilities assigned to the employee must be performed by the employee themselves. Under no circumstances may work be subcontracted, delegated, or otherwise assigned to a third party without prior written authorization from the company.
  • Ability to support during regular daytime business hours with flexibility to occasionally support during non-business hours as needed.


Work Location / Hours

  • Hybrid – this role will be required to support meetings and other activities onsite approximately 30% of the time with remaining 70% remote.
  • For all remote positions - employees may be required to attend in-person meetings, training, or other business-related activities at designated company locations from time to time. Advance notice will be provided for any required onsite presence. All employees are expected to comply with these in-person requirements as part of their role.


Physical Requirements

Work will be done primarily seated. Ability to walk around and move items as required when in the office – setting up meeting rooms, meals, and such. This role requires long periods of viewing a computer screen, working on a keyboard, and talking to various individuals.
