About Curio Spice Co.

Curio Spice Co. is a mission-driven spice company working to build a more equitable, transparent, and delicious food system through direct sourcing, storytelling, education, and exceptional products. We believe spices are not commodities — they are cultural, agricultural, and human stories worth honoring.

We are looking for a collaborative, systems-minded Marketing Manager to help lead Curio into its next phase of growth. This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about ethical business, believes marketing should serve both mission and revenue, and thrives in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

Location: Burlington, MA

Schedule: Full-time, primarily in-person with work-from-home flexibility on Mondays and Fridays

Reports to: VP of Operations & Finance

Direct Reports: 4

Position Type: Exempt, Full-Time

Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will lead Curio’s marketing function with a focus on sustainable revenue growth, operational excellence, team coordination, and brand stewardship.

This is not a purely digital marketing role. While channel oversight remains important, the heart of this position is building the systems, rhythms, team practices, and strategic alignment needed to grow a mission-driven brand with integrity.

The ideal candidate is equal parts operator, strategist, collaborator, and coach — someone who can translate vision into execution while strengthening communication, accountability, and organizational clarity across marketing initiatives.

This role will oversee marketing planning and execution across e-commerce, retail, wholesale, education/events, partnerships, storytelling, and customer engagement.

Oversee the strategic direction and performance of:

  • Email marketing
