Primary Purpose of the Position
Manages the sales function as directed.
Essential Responsible Areas
Owns and directly manages assigned existing contracted co-packer/bottler portfolio and strategic relationships nationwide.
Leads strategic cross-functional Customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
Owns delivering Customer results to meet company Financial Plan.
Owns Sales Forecast establishing expectations and planning for, and risks to, meeting company Financial Plan.
Plans, negotiates, and finalizes Customer contracts and renewals, including strategy and pricing.
Sets and executes co-packer/bottler strategy for North America Beverage; leads or supports execution of initiatives with functional experts; identifies and plans opportunities for Customer execution and growth.
Subject matter expert on co-packer/bottler capacity, network and size filling ability. Leads or supports cross-functional communication of co-packer/bottler capacity to support new opportunities including substrate shift to aluminium.
Coordinates and collaborates with internal cross-functional counterparts including Customer Fulfilment, Plant Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance, Legal, and Sourcing to deliver Customer strategy and internal projects.
Manages or is the escalation for day-to-day business activities including supply disruptions, obsolete inventory, logistics/freight issues, negotiation of large claims (Quality or Service).
Position Requirement & Competencies
Broad training in a related field.
Bachelor’s degree required. Financial acumen preferred, MBA preferred, continuing education preferred.
Minimum 2 years of Account/Customer Management preferred.
Job related sales experience for 4 years minimum, 5 years preferred.
Ability to anticipate & project Customer performance and risk vs a Financial Plan.
Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations.
Ability to provide or present data/recommendations to Leadership Team.
Working knowledge of the following areas: account/customer management; sales and marketing principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures; generally accepted managerial practices and procedures; production practices, legal practices, business principles and practices; and regional/international market dynamics.

Compensation & Benefits
Expected Hiring Salary Range: $98,900 - $141,330 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more work days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
