Marketing Coordinator (Business Development)
This role serves as the central liaison between Marketing and more than 40 BD professionals, ensuring requests are executed quickly, consistently, and at a high standard.

This position is highly execution-focused, requiring strong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail to support fast-moving business development needs.

This in-office position is located at the company’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will report to Erinn Bocock, Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support

Serve as the primary marketing liaison for 40+ business development team members

Respond to and triage requests, ensuring timely delivery without sacrificing quality

Provide day-to-day marketing support across a wide range of BD initiatives

Content & Asset Management

Coordinate creation, updating, and version control of core assets, including:

Fact sheets (versioned by capability, market, district, project, and state)

Case studies and project profiles

Pitch decks, presentations, and client-facing materials

Ensure all materials are brand-aligned, accurate, and tailored to the intended audience.

Ensure materials are current, easy to access, and properly versioned

Establish and reinforce best practices for asset usage across the BD team

Trade Shows & Conferences

Support BD with marketing needs related to trade shows, conferences, and events

Ensure consistent brand representation across all event-related outputs

Awards & Recognition Support

Partner with Corporate Business Development Operations on award strategy and submissions, including:

ABC Excellence in Construction

EC&M, ENR, Houston Business Journal, and similar programs

Assist in developing submission content and compiling required project materials

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a relevant role

Required Skills

Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented

Experience supporting business development, sales, or marketing operations preferred

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle high volumes of requests

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in a role supporting multi-region or multi-office teams

Proficiency in project management tools, such as Monday.com

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products

Ability to operate within Adobe Creative suite is preferred (e.g., InDesign templates)
