Step into a high-impact role at the heart of Advantest’s global brand presence! As a Communications Coordinator within our dynamic Corporate Communications team, you’ll be a driving force behind some of our most visible and influential initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Communications and the Director of Global Events, you’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects—from social media and branding initiatives to compelling content creation.

This role isn’t just about logistics – it’s about storytelling, strategy, and creating memorable moments that elevate our brand worldwide. You’ll also collaborate closely with regional teams across the globe, ensuring consistency and excellence in every market we touch.

Responsibilities

Support event programs, creating basic graphics for events, such as invitations, flyers, social media posts, etc.

Champion the brand initiative, taking an active role in coordinating the brand roll out, including managing files, graphical elements and training support. Work closely with regional communications teams to uphold and promote Advantest’s corporate branding standards.

Support global initiatives, contributing to activities outside the U.S. by collaborating on broader Corporate Communications efforts including digital marketing, public relations, and internal communications.

Foster strong global partnerships, building trusted relationships with peers across regions to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment.

Serve as an ambassador for Corporate Communications, representing the team with professionalism, responsiveness, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.

Deepen your expertise in Advantest’s product portfolio, while aligning every initiative with the company’s mission and vision to drive meaningful impact.

Lead administrative requirements, organizing and maintaining central repositories for photos/images, technical papers, and collateral. Inventory and order giveaway items for company events and tradeshows. Serve as point of contact for organization’s packages shipped to and from the San Jose office.

Support the goals of the social media program, successfully implementing deliverables including the creation of posts.

Requirements

1+ years in marketing communications or related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional language skills (Japanese, German, Korean, or Chinese) a plus.

Comfortable engaging with all levels of management and diverse audiences.

Proven project management skills; able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Self‑starter with solid time management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience managing outsourced marketing activities.

Creative and resourceful problem‑solver.

Eager to learn and grow professionally.

Flexible working hours required.

Solid understanding of branding principles.

On-site presence in San Jose office at least 3 days/week.

Willingness to travel up to 25%, including internationally.
