Description
The beautiful Holiday Inn Roberts Centre is searching for a reliable and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing and promotional efforts of Ralph’s American Grill and the Roberts Centre. This role provides hands‑on experience across social media, digital and print marketing, public relations activations, and on‑site promotional initiatives.

This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who is capable of working independently after receiving direction.

The Coordinator must be comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks, managing time effectively, and following projects through to completion with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management

Assist in managing and maintaining social media platforms for Ralph’s American Grill and the Roberts Centre.

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content independently once direction and brand standards are provided.

Capture on‑site photos and short‑form video content during service, events, and activations.

Monitor engagement and flag opportunities or issues proactively.

Public Relations & Activations

Work directly with the contracted PR firm on marketing activations and campaigns.

Assist with on‑site coordination for PR events, media visits, and community initiatives.

Take initiative in gathering assets, recaps, and post‑event content without needing constant oversight.

Digital & Print Marketing

Collaborate with the Marketing team on digital and print materials.

Independently manage assigned projects such as flyers, signage, and promotional assets after receiving initial guidance.

Ensure brand consistency and accuracy across all materials.

Brand Promotion & Community Engagement

Actively promote Ralph’s American Grill and the Roberts Centre through approved channels.

Support promotions, events, and campaigns by executing tasks independently and meeting deadlines.

Represent the brand professionally during events and activations.

Additional Responsibilities

Manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Take ownership of projects and communicate progress proactively.

Assist with basic analytics, reporting, and market research.

Support brainstorming and idea generation for campaigns and promotions.

Perform other marketing‑related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently after receiving direction.

Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and follow‑through.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced hospitality and event‑driven environment.

Organized, dependable, and deadline‑focused.

Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.

Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends for events.
