Job Summary
Expand Energy is entering a period of significant growth. We need a Director, Commercial to lead strategy and execution across midstream services, ensuring operational alignment and commercial optimization to support scalable growth.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Set and lead the commercial strategy across midstream services (gathering, processing)
- Own and optimize a complex portfolio of third‑party midstream agreements to maximize value and manage risk
- Lead high‑value commercial negotiations and structure agreements that support long‑term growth
- Align commercial commitments with production forecasts, infrastructure capacity, and operational realities
- Identify and unlock new opportunities across infrastructure, partnerships, and system optimization
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing commercial team
- Partner cross‑functionally to deliver integrated, commercially sound outcomes

Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Energy Management, Marketing, or related field
Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA)
Experience
Minimum: 12 years of relevant experience in energy, midstream, or commercial roles
Preferred: 2 years leadership experience
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, commercial strategy, and portfolio management

- Strong understanding of gathering, processing, and transportation agreements
