Commercial Insurance Producer

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Commercial Insurance Producer to join a growing insurance organization. This role is responsible for generating new commercial business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cross-selling initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong commercial insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to develop and close business opportunities across a variety of industries.
Develop and generate new commercial insurance business through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and community involvement
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Identify client exposures and present customized insurance solutions that align with business needs
Consistently meet or exceed annual new business revenue goals
Partner with internal departments to identify and maximize cross-selling opportunities
Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities through effective prospecting efforts
Utilize CRM systems to document sales activity, follow-ups, pipeline management, and client interactions
Deliver professional presentations and effectively communicate insurance solutions to business owners and decision-makers
Collaborate closely with Account Managers and service teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetites, and industry developments
5+ years of commercial insurance sales experience preferred
Experience working within industries such as Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a diversified/generalist book of business preferred
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and revenue goals
Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented professional
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Executive presence with the ability to engage business owners and senior leadership
College degree preferred
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
