Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Sr. Front-End Developer – React & JavaScript for their New York, NY/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js
Collaborate with business, compliance, and backend teams to translate requirements into UI solutions
Implement reusable components, optimize performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Integrate APIs for market data, trade flows, and compliance monitoring systems
Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and compliance standards
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of UI architecture
Mentor junior developers and drive best practices in frontend development
Requirements:
8+ years in Front-End development with strong hands-on experience in React.js
Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript
Experience building responsive, real-time, data-intensive applications
Good understanding of financial markets (trading, risk, compliance, or surveillance systems)
Experience in integrating REST APIs and handling real-time data streams
Familiarity with state management (Redux/Context API)
