Job Summary

As a Product Marketing Strategy Vice President, on the Sapphire Team, you will focus on advertising, brand, and media campaign strategy that is critical to the evolution and success of the Sapphire portfolio. You will leverage your expertise in brand positioning strategy, integrated media and communications planning, cross‑functional leadership, and analytical thinking to drive innovative solutions and deliver exceptional value for our customers. This is a highly visible role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day‑to‑day leader for advertising & media projects within the Sapphire portfolio, ensuring campaign strategy is carried through execution to maximize market impact.
  • Drive end‑to‑end management of creative campaigns and media plans, from ideation through execution, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams including brand, media, experiences, finance, compliance, and external partners.
  • Develop and refine brand positioning, key reasons‑to‑believe (RTBs), advertising copy and creative ensuring alignment with overall Sapphire product strategy.
  • Collaborate with partners in Brand, Media, Talent, PR to define and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform the direction and prioritization of creative strategy.
  • Translate business goals into comms goals that are conveyed in actionable creative briefs and media strategy briefs for internal and external creative partners and agencies.
  • Lead the planning, development, analysis, and assessment of integrated communications plans with Chase’s Media COE team that align to Brand and business objectives.
  • Track, monitor, analyze campaign KPIs, and find opportunities to optimize future performance.
  • Lead cross‑functional working teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver on ambitious project timelines and objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project updates, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing communications, and/or advertising execution.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high‑priority, or confidential projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of customer insights and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including building executive level presentations, and presenting to executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
