Pharmaceutical Editor

Seeking a meticulous Pharmaceutical Editor, the remote, temp-to-perm position will manage the electronic copy editing and proofreading of print and digital assets, ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory guidelines while maintaining brand integrity.
Key responsibilities

Electronically copy edit and proofread materials for approval within the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) system
Ensure adherence to brand and industry guidelines, including AMA style, throughout the editing process
Manage feedback from multiple reviewers and maintain consistency across all materials while meeting tight deadlines

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English or Communications
3-7 years of editing experience in a pharmaceutical company, creative studio/agency, or medical publishing, with senior roles requiring 10+ years
Extensive knowledge of the AMA style guide
Experience with electronic approval systems such as Aprimo or Veeva
Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
