Advancement Copywriter

Seeking a remote contract Advancement/Fundraising Copywriter, the ideal candidate will support donor communications, annual giving initiatives, and alumni engagement campaigns in a higher education setting.
Key responsibilities:

Write compelling donor-facing email marketing content for annual giving and fundraising campaigns
Develop email campaign messaging tied to various fundraising initiatives, including Giving Day and fiscal year-end efforts
Collaborate with advancement and alumni relations teams on campaign messaging strategy and storytelling

Required qualifications:

Direct experience within higher education advancement, alumni relations, or fundraising communications
Proven success writing fundraising-focused email marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of donor psychology and annual giving strategies
Ability to craft emotionally engaging, mission-centered messaging
Experience supporting Giving Day or anniversary fundraising campaigns preferred
