About Sunset Madness

Sunset Madness Basketball is a high-energy basketball league built for young adults who love competition, community, and content. We’re creating a full game-day experience with highlights, player media, stats, interviews, and social coverage that makes players feel like they’re part of a professional basketball league.

We’re looking for a dependable and creative Sports Videographer to help capture the energy of Sunset Madness throughout the summer season. You’ll be filming games, highlights, player reactions, interviews, and other moments that bring the league to life across social media and YouTube.

for someone looking to gain more real-world experience in sports media, grow their portfolio, and build their own content while working in a fast-paced basketball environment.

Responsibilities

Cover events cinematically.

Film interviews and reactions.

Capture general "day in the life" style coverage of league operations and atmosphere.

Film basketball games and highlights throughout the day.

Capture player reactions, interviews, and crowd moments.

Work alongside the Sunset Madness media team on game days.

Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Deliver footage in an organized and timely manner.

Capture the overall atmosphere and energy of the league.

Availability

Sundays, June 28 – July 26: 1 PM – 4 PM.

Sunday, August 2: 12 PM – 4 PM.

Sunday, August 9: 1 PM – 2 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest in sports media or basketball content.

Comfortable filming fast-paced sports action.

Experience using a camera, gimbal, or similar equipment.

Strong communication and reliability.

Available Sundays during the summer season.

Editing experience is a plus, but not required.

Build real sports media experience.

Expand your portfolio with consistent live-event content.

Network with athletes, creators, and other media members.

Help shape the visual identity of a growing sports brand.
