Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Prepares original art designs for various departments and/or campaigns as assigned.
Prepares original pieces/collateral materials consistent with art designs developed by our advertising agency.
Interfaces directly with department heads for facilitating the production of internal promotional pieces and collateral materials as directed by supervisor.
Coordinates with vendors to prepare digital files for appropriate output.
Uploads and schedules digital signage and audio content to the casino floor.
Follows the branding guidelines for the property for each project.
Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues for computer operating systems, maintains and upgrades system as necessary.
Mentains current knowledge base of applicable professional technology.
Maintains orderly files for active and completed projects.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner; maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Attends all necessary training meetings.
Assists in other projects, as directed.
Duty, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24‑hour schedule.
Qualifications / Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old or older upon employment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Integral knowledge of multiple printing processes, including offset, digital and silk-screen.
Advanced knowledge of computer systems and software, including Freehand, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint required.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Advertising agencies' experience preferred.
A two‑year degree in multimedia or graphic arts or three plus years’ experience in a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in design and development, production and coordination of advertising/collateral materials preferred.
Well‑groomed and professional appearance.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; ability to respond to visual and oral cues.
Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
Effective interaction with customers and employees.
Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Employment contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
Physical, Mental and Work Demands
Must have the physical ability to work in extreme weather and lift 25 lbs., to squat, stand or bend repeatedly. Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations and be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast‑paced casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and members of the business community in all situations.
