Public Relations Intern, Fashion

Role Description
This is a 2-3 day per week for-credit internship lasting from May through August and is an on-site role for a Public Relations Intern based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The intern will assist in daily showroom tasks, event support, coordinating gifting, and more. They will also be responsible for tracking media coverage, and providing general support to the PR team to maintain efficient workflows.

Qualifications

Must be able to receive school credit

Education in Public Relations or Communications, experience is a plus

Proficiency in Communication and Media Relations, with the ability to foster relationships with media outlets

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and research skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Familiarity with the fashion, design, or lifestyle industries is a plus

Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Mac computers a must, LaunchMetrics, MuckRack proficiency a plus
