Please add the link for your portfolio when completing application or add it to your resume.The Web Designer is a creative professional responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional websites while having a solid understanding of marketing strategies. They will collaborate with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure that websites meet client objectives, engage target audiences, and achieve desired results. The Web Designer will also execute visually compelling marketing campaigns that capture the brand's essence and drive engagement across multiple channels.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following statements describe the principal functions of this position and the scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practicesStrong front-end development skills, including advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3Experience with integrating designs with CMS platforms; have the ability to develop custom themes, templates, and components.Understand and implement UX/UI and accessibility standardsAssists in creating and maintaining consistency in all web-based advertising campaigns, identities, and web processesAssist in the development and execution of creative strategies that align with the marketing objectives and enhance brand awareness.Assists in maintaining, updating, and enhancing company websitesProficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, and Canva.Strong understanding of WordPress with the ability to effectively utilize its features to create and manage websites.Gather information about the client's business, target audience, and industry trends to inform design decisions.Create graphics, icons, and other visual elements that enhance the website's appearance and user experience.Collaborate in creative sessions for project kick-offs.Maintains archives of all previous workGenerate innovative design ideas that align with the client's brand identity and messagingDevelop basic outlines and interactive models of the website's structure and layout.Takes photos/videos as needed of models, classes, employees, and residents for use on websites, brochures, and other collateralCreate eye-catching video content optimized for social media channels highlighting amenities, guest experiences, and event highlights.Ensure that websites are optimized for various screen sizes and devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphonesWork closely with developers to implement design concepts and ensure seamless integration of design elements into the website's codeRegularly update and maintain websites to address issues, implement new features, and ensure ongoing performanceKeep informed about the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.Meets the expectations and requirements of internal and external customersEstablishes and maintains effective relationships and gains customers’ trust and respectDevelops positive working relationships with customers through responsiveness and delivery of accurate, timely, and effective services and acts with customers in mindExhibits effort and follow-through in resolving customer problems and needs promptly and keeps customers frequently abreast of development and status of the issueBrings resolution to issues on a timely basis and within policies or established standardsAnticipates the needs of users and ensures these needs are taken into consideration when completing assignmentsUphold and evolve the company’s brand identity, ensuring all creative works reflect values, mission, and brand.Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that promote the company’s offerings, including special events and promotions.Design and produce high-quality visuals for digital and print advertising, ensuring all creative elements align with the marketing strategy and brand identityEnsures that quality outcomes and timely work are deliveryInforms management of any changes, potential problems, or outstanding issuesCollaborates with team members within the department and companywideWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Events, and Operations, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.Present creative concepts and strategies to senior management, incorporating feedback as neededReport any incident or accident to the Manager/Director.
