Overview


The Consumer & Community Banking team is seeking a passionate visual storyteller and strategic communicator to create impactful visuals across web, video, social media, presentations and email. As a Senior Associate Graphic Designer within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Communications team you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of internal events ranging from workshops and senior leader summits to large‑scale branch gatherings across multiple lines of business.


Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with communications strategists and business stakeholders to design innovative, high‑quality creative assets for CCB campaigns.

  • Transform communications objectives into impactful visuals across web, video, social media, presentations, and email.

  • Lead the creative process from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with communications goals and CCB priorities.

  • Present creative concepts and visual strategies to communications partners, business leaders, and executives.

  • Manage project schedules and coordinate with freelance partners and external agencies as needed.

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions with communications, editorial, and creative teams to develop effective campaign concepts.

  • Ensure all creative assets follow JPMorganChase brand guidelines and champion best practices in branding and design.

  • Collaborate across CCB to develop storyboards, production briefs, and communication plans.

  • Present strategies and production plans to executives and business partners, influencing outcomes and ensuring business alignment.

  • Support and mentor the communications team, leveraging new multimedia tools and technologies to enhance storytelling.


Qualifications



  • 6+ years of design experience in agency or corporate communications, specializing in event branding and large‑scale event design.

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with After Effects, motion graphics, or Blender.

  • Skilled communicator with experience pitching and presenting event branding concepts to stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities; adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.

  • Excellent design sense in layout, composition, typography, and color.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working under tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in technology, financial services, or a similar field.

  • Familiar with multimedia, digital, UX/UI, and responsive design principles.

  • Knowledgeable in Blender and motion graphics.

  • Skilled in designing executive presentations, business updates, and strategic communications.


Benefits & Compensation


Base salary ranges by location: New York, NY – $71,250.00–$145,000.00 per year; Chicago, IL – $77,900.00–$125,000.00 per year; Brooklyn, NY – $93,100.00–$145,000.00 per year. Eligible roles may receive commission‑based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation.
