About the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative, nimble Creative Producer to help shape and execute an MR original show in series. This role will be instrumental in developing episode concepts, producing shoots, and maintaining the show’s distinct comedic voice and visual identity.

Title: Creative Producer (Current Series)

Overseeing the end-to-end entire production process for 1x current series (pre-production, production, post-production)

Manage a small existing team, including: talent, production personnel, editors, and designers, to run the show

Ensure high-quality execution from pre-production through post-production

Ensure our standard releases are signed

Adhere to budget guidelines

Current series are

Serve as Director on set, owning the creative vision on set

Develop and pitch storylines and subject matter to expand/evolve current series and take to greater heights

Develop and pitch concepts for branded integrations for show episodes

Able to improvise with real people as guests and authentic settings

Work within and expand the brand identity and tone of voice of the show

Work with established art direction & tonal / purpose pillars

Creatively propose evolution and expansion of said pillars

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video production and digital content creation

Understand, evaluate, and implement feedback from the team to improve the quality of show output

Manage multiple shoot projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

[Bonus Points] Be capable of making revisions to edits yourself using Adobe Premiere

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in producing short form (under 3min), viral content

++ for experience in executing a creative that became a hit show

+++ for experience with documentary-style content

Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging video content

Passion for storytelling and strong narrative building skills

Strong understanding of social platforms and related trends

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to improvise and work with real people in real settings

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

[Bonus Points] Video editing experience with Adobe Premiere

[Bonus Points] Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required

Contractor Specifications

People Lead: This role reports to Clare Naughton (Director of Operations & Production)

Fees: Weekly retainer (including pre-production, production, post-production) — averages 2x episodes per shoot, averages 1-2x shoot(s) per week

Credits: Producer & Director

Can work in-person in NYC 1-2 days/week required for on set
