As part of one of our dynamic clients in Edison, NJ, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital presence of their clients by creating engaging video content for a variety of social media platforms.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with creative professionals and contribute to impactful campaigns that drive audience engagement and brand visibility. You will work on-site in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your technical and creative skills to produce high-quality content that resonates across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing, shooting, and editing both short-form and long-form video content tailored for multiple social platforms.
Operating a range of camera systems, including DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, and mobile rigs.
Editing and finishing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva, including color correction, audio mixing, and titling.
Exporting and formatting deliverables to meet platform specifications for aspect ratios, codecs, file sizes, and frame rates.
Creating supporting graphics, thumbnails, lower thirds, and branded templates with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
Executing basic VFX and motion graphics such as green screen keying, text animation, and compositing.
Managing media and project files with organized structures and archiving systems.
Collaborating on content calendars, creative concepts, and campaign messaging with team members.
Staying current on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats.
Requirements
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field
1–2 years of professional video production and editing experience
Portfolio or reel showcasing video production and editing work for social platforms
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva
Hands‑on experience operating cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, or mobile rigs)
Working knowledge of web and social video delivery specs (file formats, codecs, aspect ratios, frame rates, and platform export requirements)
Basic graphic design skills using Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
Experience with basic VFX and motion workflows (keying, compositing, simple text animation)
Comfort directing on‑camera talent and conducting interviews
Ability to do local/regional travel to attend events
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications: Experience using After Effects, DaVinci Fusion, or Premiere’s built‑in motion/VFX tools
Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with current social media trends and emerging content formats
Experience collaborating on creative concepts and campaign messaging
Comfort working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Interest in professional development and growth within media production
