About Pinterest: Millions of people around the world come to our platform to find creative ideas, dream about new possibilities and plan for memories that will last a lifetime. At Pinterest, we’re on a mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love, and that starts with the people behind the product.

Our Editorial team shapes the voice of Pinterest for hundreds of millions of Pinners around the world. As Lead, Editorial Content you’ll create programming and content opportunities on and off the Pinterest platform that drive revenue via sponsorship opportunities, create cultural buzz, and lift the Pinterest brand. You’ll report to the Senior Director Global Head of Editorial Content and be part of a global team that turns cultural trends and data‑driven insights into inspiring, best‑in‑class editorial content experiences and trend‑led storytelling to life for advertisers and audiences.

What you’ll do

Creative & Production Leadership: Lead the end‑to‑end creative vision, development, and high‑quality production of original content, spanning all formats (DOOH, CTV, longform series, and multimedia) across organic and branded content. Own the full content lifecycle, negotiating creative differences, ensuring execution with partners is delivered on schedule and on budget.

Revenue Generation & Partnerships: Drive editorial monetization by sourcing, commissioning, and ideating best‑in‑class content opportunities that directly align with Editorial Sponsorship/Ad Sales goals. Cultivate strategic relationships with talent, creators, producers, and brands to secure new, revenue‑generating content opportunities.

Cross‑Functional Management & Editorial Vision: Serve as the central cross‑functional leader, aligning internal stakeholders (including comms, social, marketing, and product teams) to ensure seamless execution and support for original programming. Shape the editorial perspective on new franchises and content formats, balancing strategic approach, innovation, creativity, and measurable content performance.

AI Integration & Strategic Foresight: Strategically leverage AI to accelerate development workflows: drafting pitches, proposals, data insights, seasonal trends, and cultural moment insights to proactively identify whitespace for new opportunities. Ensure all AI‑assisted outputs are rigorously reviewed for strategic accuracy, brand consistency, and stakeholder readiness.

What we’re looking for

8+ years of experience in long‑form programming working at a network, platform, studio or production company overseeing content development, branded content and production.

Strong creative reputation, network of contacts and relationships. Ability to work with high‑end creative talent and senior stakeholders. Strong ability to build working relationships with other Pinterest departments and executives.

Clear‑thinking, and straightforward approach to problem‑solving and decision making. A growth‑oriented mindset about the usage of AI as a force multiplier for editorial teams.

Excellent verbal storytelling and presentational skills – you can share a vision, inspire action and represent Pinterest externally.

Proven ability to work well and be flexible in a fast‑moving environment, managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.

Demonstrated success turning cultural trends and data insights into best‑in‑class branded content initiatives. A keen sense of trends across fashion and beauty, home, food and drinks, lifestyle, pop culture, entertainment, etc. Passionate about Pinterest, with a solid understanding of our product.

Ability to create content, edit, motion/graphic design, and Creative Agency background is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Film/TV Production, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
