Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an ambitious Mid-Market Account Executive to join our growing new business sales team.

Virtually every company needs compliance training, but most are still using clunky legacy providers that just barely check the box. Ethena is disrupting the space with a truly innovative AI-native platform – as an AE on our team, you’ll be on the front lines of this paradigm shift, partnering with customers to take their compliance programs further than they previously thought possible.

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Ethena, you’ll manage the sales process end to end to acquire new business and create strong Ethena customer champions. Your curiosity, communication and relationship building skills, and disciplined pipeline management and deal stage rigor will help you drive deals forward and get wins on the board.

What you’ll do

Source, manage, and close new business deals

Clearly communicate the value of Ethena and demonstrate how our products can address prospects’ pain points

Foster strong relationships through deep understanding of your customers’ needs

Multithread effectively to create champions across multiple teams

Keep a tight, organized pipeline; be on top of deal stage movement and maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce

Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas

Travel a few times per year to attend key events and meet with prospects in person

What makes a great candidate

Experience in SaaS full-cycle sales, particularly in complex, non-transactional deals on small, high-growth teams

Track record of surpassing sales quotas and excelling in new business acquisition

Proven ability to manage pipeline proactively, advancing deals through each stage

Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Curiosity about new technology and an ability to connect it to business impact

Proactive, self-led, and hungry to make an impact

Builder mentality - you improve the playbook, not just run it

Proficient in Salesforce and sales automation tools (Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, etc.)

Aligned with Ethena’s mission, with a passion for learning and growth

Physical demands

This is sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing in a home office environment.

Compensation
The annual starting base salary for this position is between $70,000 - $100,000 with OTE between $140,000 - $200,000, depending on experience, in addition to equity.
