Project Scope
We are seeking a MEDITECH Report Writer to support reporting development and optimization efforts for a healthcare organization. This role will focus primarily on NPR reporting within the MEDITECH environment, delivering accurate and actionable reports that support clinical and operational decision-making.

Position Summary
The MEDITECH Report Writer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports within the MEDITECH environment with a primary focus on NPR. This individual will work closely with operational and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, build and test reports, and ensure reporting outputs meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on MEDITECH reporting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work independently in a remote, part‑time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reports within the MEDITECH environment using NPR.

Gather and document reporting requirements from operational and technical stakeholders.

Test and validate reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues in a timely manner.

Maintain documentation of report logic, data sources, and build decisions.

Support ongoing reporting optimization and enhancement requests.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective reporting solutions.

Qualifications

Hands‑on MEDITECH NPR report writing experience required.

Strong understanding of MEDITECH data structures and reporting architecture.

Ability to gather requirements and translate them into accurate, actionable reports.

Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data accuracy.

Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time environment.

Strong communication skills with both technical and operational audiences.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MEDITECH NPR or BAC reporting.

Background supporting revenue cycle, clinical, or operational reporting in a healthcare environment.

Familiarity with MEDITECH Expanse or Magic platforms.

Experience working in a consulting or contract capacity.

Ability to manage multiple reporting requests simultaneously.
