Marketing Manager – B2B Subscriptions & Events (USA – Remote Based) – $75‑80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

My client is the world’s leading provider of events and media for the data, analytics, AI and cybersecurity executive community, running global summits, publishing thought‑leadership content, and providing platforms that connect senior leaders with peers and solution providers. Through growth, a role has arisen for a Marketing Manager with a proven track record of turning content into subscriber growth. This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands how to build a loyal audience and convert them into paying members/readers.

The candidate will be a major part of growth to help expand subscribers and revenue from digital content products . You’ll partner closely with our editorial team to ensure world‑class content reaches the right audiences and converts them into subscribers.

Key Responsibilities

Subscription Growth

Develop and execute strategies that drive subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Own KPIs across the subscriber funnel: traffic → lead → free → paid → retained.

Editorial Collaboration

Work hand‑in‑hand with the editorial team to package and promote content that resonates with our executive audience.

Optimise content distribution across newsletters, reports, events, webinars, and digital campaigns.

Ensure editorial output is supported by the right marketing tactics (SEO, email nurture, paid promotion, social).

Performance & Optimisation

Use data/analytics to monitor conversion, retention, and LTV.

Run A/B tests on content formats, landing pages, and email nurture journeys.

Constantly refine messaging, calls to action, and user experience to maximise subscriptions.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven track record of growing subscribers in a subscription, membership, media, or B2B events business .

Excellent writing and messaging skills; able to translate editorial content into compelling campaigns.

Data‑driven, fluent with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.

Deep understanding of funnel metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, ARPU).

Comfortable working both strategically and hands‑on—this role starts as a team of one with scope to grow.
