Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO Manager who owns organic growth end-to-end and can execute across both technical SEO and link acquisition. This is a hands‑on role – you will work directly in WordPress and custom‑coded environments, implement changes yourself where possible, and drive measurable outcomes: traffic, backlinks, and conversions (signups, sales calls, revenue). You should combine a developer mindset, a growth focus, and the ability to deliver consistent, predictable SEO output (especially backlinks).
Key Responsibilities
1. Organic Growth Ownership (Traffic → Signups → Revenue)
Own and grow organic traffic as a key acquisition channel
Optimize for business outcomes, not just traffic:
Signups
Paid subscriptions
Conversion into sales calls
Identify and execute SEO opportunities that directly impact pipeline
2. Technical SEO + Hands‑On Implementation
Work directly with:
WordPress
Custom‑coded website (staging + production)
Implement SEO changes independently where possible:
On‑page optimization (meta, headers, internal linking)
Schema and structured data
Indexation and crawlability fixes
Run technical audits and resolve:
Rendering issues (including JS SEO)
Site structure and internal linking
Core Web Vitals / performance
Operate comfortably across testing and production environments
3. Backlink Acquisition (Core KPI: Consistent Output)
Build and execute a scalable backlink strategy
Deliver a predictable number of quality backlinks every month
Execute outreach and partnerships directly
Focus on links that improve rankings, not vanity placements
Track and report backlink impact on rankings and traffic
4. Analytics & Execution
Use tools like:
Google Search Console, GA4
Ahrefs / SEMrush
Screaming Frog
Monitor performance and continuously optimize
Run SEO experiments and iterate based on results
Proven Performance
Demonstrated success in growing organic traffic
Ability to present at least 2 strong case studies, including:
Clear strategy
Actions taken
Measurable results (traffic, rankings, conversions)
Technical & Execution Skills
Strong technical SEO expertise
Ability to work with:
WordPress
Custom‑coded websites (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript)
Comfortable implementing changes directly (not dependent on dev team)
Understanding of staging vs production workflows
Backlink & Output Discipline
Proven experience in link building
Ability to deliver consistent, predictable backlink output monthly
Focus on execution and results, not just strategy
SaaS & Growth Understanding
Experience working with SaaS products
Understanding of:
Acquisition funnels (traffic → signup → paid → sales call)
How SEO contributes to revenue, not just visibility
Ability to align SEO efforts with product and GTM strategy
Nice to Have
Experience in B2B SaaS
Programmatic SEO experience
Basic scripting (Python/SQL)
Experience working in early‑stage or high‑growth environments
