Establishing and maintaining media contacts
Monitoring and analysing media coverage
Developing communication strategies in coordination with the Group Leader
Organizing media events and interviews
Editing articles, brochures, posters, webpages and other publications
Coordinating the production of publications, e.g. Annual Report
Developing, managing and updating content on the European XFEL website
Working with the Social Media Manager to provide content, and stepping in for the Social Media manager during periods his/her absence
Coordinating publication of news with partner PR departments and agencies
Engaging in and supporting other activities of the Communication and Education group
