Circulation Manager

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Circulation Manager to oversee newspaper home delivery operations, single copy distribution, and subscriber retention efforts. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate product delivery, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and retail partners, and supporting circulation growth initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while leading daily distribution operations.
Monday - Friday: 40-50hrs a week
Schedule options: 2:00pm-10:00pm
Responsibilities:
Oversee home delivery operations, customer service, and complaint resolution to ensure high subscriber satisfaction
Manage single copy distribution, including news racks, retail outlets, inventory tracking, and billing coordination
Supervise circulation staff and independent contractors, including scheduling, performance management, and operational support
Develop and execute initiatives to improve subscriber retention and grow single copy sales opportunities
Monitor compliance with auditing standards, circulation procedures, and company operational policies
Represent the company at community events while building strong relationships with dealers, contractors, and retail partners
Qualifications:
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet delivery deadlines
Experience with distribution, circulation, logistics, or delivery operations preferred
Comfortable using computers, email, and standard office equipment
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work in varying weather conditions while lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
