School Photographer - Charleston, SC

Job Overview
Seasonal School Photographer with JostensPIX – starting July 14, 2026. Must reside in the Charleston, SC area.

Pay & Benefits

Competitive pay: $18.50–$20.50 per hour

401(k) match eligibility from day one

Seasonal flexibility – work through November with possible extension into December based on event schedules

Average 30+ hours per week with overtime pay during peak weeks

Paid training included – no photography experience required

Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement

Promotion potential – become a Photo Team Lead and earn an extra $1 per hour

Responsibilities

Capture genuine smiles and valuable school memories

Use personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture day

Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations

Use photo software to organize and manage images

Build hands‑on photography experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting

Experience occasional overnight stays; hotel and per diem paid

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)

Reliable, insured vehicle; valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted)

Willingness to start early (as early as 4 AM) and to work occasional extended hours when traveling

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment

Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities

Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills

Ability to work independently after training

Professional appearance that reflects Jostens standards

Reliable cell phone and internet access

May be required to complete additional background or health screenings as determined by state policies
