Your Role
Musicow US is seeking an experienced

Album Production Manager

who deeply understands the end-to-end music production ecosystem. This role will oversee and drive the execution of album projects across multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination from development to release.
The ideal candidate brings

6–10+ years of experience within a record label, production company, or music distribution environment , and has a strong understanding of both

U.S. and Korean music industry landscapes .
You will act as a key bridge between artists, producers, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with both creative and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Album Lifecycle Management
Own and manage the full album production lifecycle, from planning and recording to release and distribution
Drive project execution across all phases, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategic goals
Cross-functional & External Coordination
Collaborate closely with artists, A&R, producers, engineers, marketing, legal, and distribution partners
Serve as the central point of contact across internal and external stakeholders
Timeline & Delivery Ownership
Build and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring timely delivery across all milestones
Proactively identify bottlenecks and resolve issues to keep projects on track
Industry & Market Alignment
Ensure projects align with current industry standards, trends, and platform requirements (DSPs, distribution, etc.)
Incorporate insights from both U.S. and Korean music markets into project execution
Budget & Resource Management
Oversee production budgets and resource allocation (studio time, personnel, vendors)
Partner with finance to track and optimize project costs
Rights & Contract Coordination
Support management of contracts, rights, and deliverables in collaboration with legal and business teams
Ensure compliance with licensing, publishing, and distribution requirements
Quality Control
Maintain high standards across all deliverables including audio, metadata, and release assets
About You
6–10+ years of experience

in music production, record label, or related industry
Strong understanding of

album production workflows and music industry ecosystem
Experience working with

artists, producers, and cross-functional teams
Familiarity with

music distribution, DSP platforms, and release processes
Deep knowledge of

U.S. and Korean music markets

(highly preferred)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is required to effectively collaborate across US and Korea teams and stakeholders
