A remote Character Designer is required to create anime-style characters for an independent music agency. The project involves designing original characters that align with an anime aesthetic, with a focus on visual appeal, stylization, and unique personality expression. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of expertise in anime character design and be able to deliver high-quality work suitable for use in creative and promotional materials.
Requirements
Extensive experience in anime-style character design
Strong illustration and concept development skills
Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or Procreate
Ability to create expressive, stylized characters with attention to detail and proportion
Understanding of character turnarounds, pose sheets, and color design
Strong portfolio showcasing previous anime character work
Excellent communication and ability to accept and implement feedback
Remote position; must have access to a professional digital art setup and reliable internet connection
