Shift Manager $2500 BONUS

Responsibilities

Focus on company standards regarding merchandising, highlighting quality, freshness and uniqueness of products

Use passion and knowledge to educate team members and customers on product offerings

Proactively approach customers, answer questions, help locate items and offer suggestions to complete their meals

Required Qualifications

1 or more years of work experience or a college degree

Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading a team

Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters

Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting

Related work experience; experience ordering products and controlling inventory

Managerial/supervisory experience living our values and achieving results in our 5 measures

Experience coordinating daily work of others

Work Environment
The physical demands of this work are classified as medium to heavy. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast‑paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate to moderately high and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors with exposure to cold (33 – 55 degrees) temperatures and wet conditions. Basic tools and equipment used include box cutter, u‑cart, hand/power jack, compactor, baler, knives, packaging supplies, and food processing equipment.
