Responsibilities

Applying your extensive expertise in the Rental Market segment to develop innovative strategies for growth in the U.S. and Canada.

Creating and executing a comprehensive business plan that aligns with our strategic goals and financial targets.

Communicating key technical insights about the Rental Market to internal stakeholders.

Understanding market dynamics, including decision-making processes impacting product specifications.

Mapping key decision-makers within the rental companies to build strategic relationships.

Staying ahead of technology trends, identifying how they influence our customers' needs for products and services.

Facilitating marketing initiatives to promote Gates' Fluid Power and Power Transmission portfolios.

Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to generate new project opportunities and innovative solutions.

Leading cross-functional teams to align objectives across sales, engineering, and distribution.

Establishing go-to-market strategies for our product lines tailored to the Rental Market.

Developing a product content roadmap to support business development and lead generation.

Maintaining a comprehensive market intelligence framework to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Conducting market research and SWOT analyses to guide decision-making and strategic direction.

Monitoring competitor performance and identifying opportunities for our growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities
None.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree is required.

At least 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in business development or account sales within the rental market.

A strong understanding of Rental Market infrastructure is essential.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

Full-Time Role

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000

Eligibility for Sales Incentive Plan

Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other benefits starting on the first day of the month after hire

3 weeks of paid vacation plus 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) and 8 sick days

401(k) with company contribution and match
