Contemporary Worship Band Leader

Immanuel Lutheran Church Eden Prairie | Part-Time

The band leader coordinates Immanuel’s contemporary worship band to maintain and develop contemporary music that reflects Lutheran values and the theological principles of music ministry.
Hours per week: 10 hours/week, Hourly position. Responsibilities include approximately 2 hours of rehearsals per week from September to May, 3 hours for Sunday worship, 5 hours of administrative tasks, music selection/preparation, and occasional meetings.
Commensurate with experience, salaried, informed by most recent guidelines from the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians (ALCM) and MSP Synod of ELCA guideline.
