We are seeking an experienced SEO and AEO Manager. The SEO and AEO Manager bridges the gap between traditional search visibility and AI-driven discovery. This is a hybrid role for a strategist‑practitioner who synthesizes technical architecture, conversion‑focused copywriting, and deep data analytics to transform digital traffic into measurable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Omnichannel Search Strategy: Lead organic growth and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to ensure clients are recommended across Google and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
AEO & Schema Architecture: Design conversational content clusters and deploy advanced multimodal schema to capture "Position Zero" and AI-generated answers.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Apply persuasive design and UX principles to turn informational readers into active leads via clear, high‑intent CTAs.
Technical & On‑Page Excellence: Audit and optimize site architecture, ensuring all assets (text, video, imagery) are machine‑readable and performance‑ready.
High‑Impact Copywriting: Draft all mission‑critical materials, including web copy, email sequences, and marketing collateral, ensuring a unified brand voice.
Strategic Reporting: Translate complex datasets into "narrative-driven" insights for executive‑level client reviews. Client‑facing reporting and strategy meetings.
Cross‑Functional Team work: Direct social media and creative teams with data‑backed content themes and performance requirements.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years in search management with a focus on evolving search behaviors.
The "Dual‑Threat" Skill Set: Advanced professional copywriting paired with elite analytical fluency (Excel/SQL/Analytics).
AI Search Literacy: Expert understanding of how LLMs and search algorithms retrieve and prioritize business data.
Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to manually edit code and navigate restrictive CMS.
Tool Stack: Proficiency in GA4, Looker Studio, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search.
Project Management: Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client‑focused mindset.
Familiarity with project management software. Monday.com a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects.
Up‑to‑date on the newest SEO and AI trends, news, and updates.
What it Takes to be Successful
Strategic thinker and problem solver – We have a philosophy here at Holland Adhaus – don’t bring a problem without a solution. We are not looking for someone to find the quickest way to do something, but someone who can see the big picture and offer a solution to existing and new issues.
Lifelong learner – We are looking for someone who never stops learning. Don’t know the answer? We expect our team members to go out and find the answer themselves. We are a small but mighty team, and we’re still learning something new every day. Professional development is highly encouraged.
Reliable – Requires excellent memory, organizational ability, and the ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
If you can do all of the above and have additional skills in areas of design, video/photo editing or any other skills that could be an asset to a creative full‑service agency, don’t be shy! Let us know that too. Let’s be real. It’s OK to not know everything, but you have to have what it takes to figure things out and make them work. That’s the thing we value most in our employees: grit. We are hardworking, scrappy individuals who have the guts to try new things and push ourselves. We are transparent and honest, both with our clients and with each other. We collaborate within our team, clients, and partners. We genuinely care about the work that we do and the people we serve.
