Our marketing team is charged with an important task – sharing our Staples story. We use customer data and analytics to help us understand and improve our customers’ experiences, drive customer retention, and encourage brand loyalty. Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.
What you will be doing:
Manage and maintain the social content calendar across campaigns, promotions, and brand storytelling
Adapt campaign messaging into engaging, platform‑specific social copy
Partner with Brand, Creative, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure alignment of assets and timelines
Coordinate publishing across channels, ensuring posts go live accurately and on schedule
Support creation of social‑first content, including short‑form video and trend‑based formats
Schedule and publish content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Draft and edit content aligned with brand voice and platform best practices
Monitor social performance and proactively flag opportunities or issues
Engage with social communities through comments and participation in relevant conversations
Monitor trends and cultural moments to identify engagement opportunities
Support influencer, creator, and partner collaborations
Track performance metrics and assist with reporting
Maintain content calendars, trackers, and documentation
Collaborate cross‑functionally to support campaigns and initiatives
What You Bring to the Table:
Strong passion for social media, digital content, and emerging trends
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong writing and editing skills, especially for short‑form content
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across cross‑functional teams
Experience creating social content, including short‑form video, is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
4–6 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content coordination, or communications
Experience with social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn
Experience managing content calendars and coordinating campaigns
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in retail, B2B, or brand marketing environments
Experience supporting influencer, creator, or partner campaigns
Experience with analytics, reporting, or social listening tools
