Floating Community Consultant (Floating Leasing Agent) | Briarstone, Bellamonte, Terravista, & Meadows Apartments (Tacoma, WA)
Position Overview
Schedule – Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
On‑Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at your job location during the scheduled hours. You must be able to reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work. Current residents of the property are not eligible for this position.
Property Information:
Briarstone – 157‑unit garden‑style community built in 1993 and Bellamonte – 120‑unit garden‑style community built in 1991.
Meadows – 200‑unit garden‑style apartment community built in 2009.
Terravista – 280‑unit garden‑style community built in 1990.
Compensation Package:
Pay Range: $25 to $29_/Hour
Bonus Incentives: Monthly Leasing Bonuses!

Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).

What We’re Looking For
2+ years of customer service experience (required).
1+ year of experience in the multifamily/student housing industry within the last 10 years (preferred).
Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws, and ADA laws (preferred).
High school diploma or GED (required).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
Fluent in English – strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Your Role
Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight the qualities and selling points of the property/units.
Handle customer and tenant relations and ensure all issues are addressed promptly and with a high level of customer service.
Maintain knowledge of the current area market.
Prepare and maintain reports for managers.
Host community events and ensure they comply with American Property Management’s Quality Standards.
Assist residents from the beginning to the end of the rental process.
