Strategic Writer and Communicator

Overview
We’re looking for exceptional writers and multimedia communicators to help us articulate our evergrowing vision to a broad range of stakeholders in a clear, powerful, and emotionally resonant way. You will work closely with our VP of Strategy and Business, as well as our CEO, to do this. You’re probably a good fit for this set of roles if:

Qualifications

You could have conceived of and produced Apple’s famous “1984” ad (and held strong against the executives in the room who hated it)

You worked at VICE between 2007 and 2015

You’re able to take what most people would require 100 words to communicate and do so in 10

You write good poetry in your free time

You’re able to recognize subtle patterns in the everchanging digital ether, well enough to simultaneously channel and also subvert them to cut through the noise

You are excited by the idea of creating a world around our work that makes our long‑term vision of the future feel inevitable, not just possible

You’re able to immediately detect even the most subtle of AI writing, including when it has been massaged significantly by humans

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Salary Range
$100,000 - $200,000 USD
