Hiring Pay Ranges: $21.62 - $32.01 per hour
Media Specialist I - $21.62 - $26.45 per hour
Media Specialist II - $23.78 - $29.08 per hour
Media Specialist III - $26.16 - $32.01 per hour This position may be eligible to receive an additional $1.00 per hour is approved for the Spanish Communication Assistant Program
The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary The Media Specialist is a key member of ANB Bank's Marketing team, responsible for developing, managing, and executing the Bank's social media strategy across all digital platforms, and writing press releases, officer biographies, customer communications, and articles on industry topics. This role serves as the voice of the brand online - creating compelling content, building community, and fostering meaningful engagement with both customers and employees. The Media Specialist works to strengthen ANB Bank's digital presence by aligning social media efforts with the Bank's mission, business objectives, and community values. This position also plays an active role in coordinating the Bank's community involvement, sponsorships, and brand storytelling to connect with customers, local businesses, and industry influences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Media Strategy Develops, owns, and maintains the Bank's comprehensive social media strategy, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), platform priorities, campaign goals, and a forward-looking content roadmap aligned with marketing and business objectives.
Evaluates new and emerging social media platforms and recommends adoption strategies with supporting metrics and business justification.
Integrates social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, email, public relations, and branch-level initiatives.
Stays current on social media trends, algorithm changes, platform updates, and best practices - especially as they relate to the financial services industry and regulatory environment.

• Content Creation and Publishing Develops and publishes compelling, on-brand content across all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and others, encompassing written posts, articles, photography, graphics, and video.
Researches target audiences to tailor messaging and content that resonates with both existing customers and prospective clients.
Maintains and enhances the editorial social media calendar, ensuring content is planned, approved, and published consistently and on time.
Maintains a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and customer experience across all social channels and digital platforms, including the Bank's website and Intranet.
Assists with web content development for the Bank's website and Intranet to ensure alignment across digital touchpoints.
Familiar with AI models and their potential use for social media marketing purposes.
Collaborates with other Bank departments to write customer communications when needed.

Customer & Employee Engagement Creates and drives opportunities for customer engagement, including interactive campaigns, community spotlights, financial education content, customer recognition features, and user-generated content initiatives.
Develops and executes strategies for employee engagement on social media, including employee spotlight series, behind-the-scenes content, team recognition posts, and encouraging employee advocacy of the Bank's brand.
Monitors all social media channels and online review sites as the primary point of contact during business hours and as part of the Bank's after-hours social media response team for brand mentions and customer inquiries.
Responds to customer comments, messages, and reviews in a timely, professional, and brand-consistent manner, escalating issues to management as appropriate.

Analytics, Reporting & Accountability Monitors and analyzes key social media performance metrics - including engagement rates, reach, impressions, follower growth, and conversions - using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
Prepares regular reports (monthly at minimum) on social media performance, campaign results, and audience insights, with actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Maintains a consistent, documented system for measuring and evaluating the success of the social media program over time.
Conducts competitive analysis to benchmark ANB Bank's social media performance against peers and identify opportunities.

Community & Brand Involvement Tracks and promotes all sponsorships, donations, and community involvement initiatives for each branch, ensuring visibility and engagement on social channels.
Coordinates with branch teams and business development officers to capture and amplify local stories, events, and community milestones.
Writes and proofreads press releases, external and internal communications, marketing materials, and business development officer biographies.
Works with third-party agencies, vendors, and influencer partners as needed to extend the Bank's reach and execute campaigns.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence Works closely with the Compliance Department to ensure all social media content and campaigns adhere to the Bank's social media policy, applicable banking regulations, and industry guidelines (including FDIC, FFIEC, and BSA requirements).
Maintains current knowledge of and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and all other relevant banking regulations and Bank policies.
Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards and maintains confidentiality in accordance with Bank policies.
Supports ANB Bank's Mission, Vision, and Values in all communications and interactions.
Other duties may be assigned.

Media Specialist I Performs several, if not all, of the above duties with regular direction and supervision.

Writes and proofreads other marketing related materials.

Understand current trends, technologies and advancements in social and online review sites.
Identifies opportunities, tools and trends in the social space and recommend the best course of action with justifiable metrics.
Analyze new social media platforms for future growth and development opportunities.

Education and/or Experience

Media Specialist I One year of professional social media, communications and/or marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of other work history and/or education.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Media Specialist II Two to three years of professional social media, communications and/or marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of other work history and/or education.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Media Specialist III Three to four years of professional social media, communications and/or marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of other work history and/or education.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
