We are looking for a Production Technician to manufacture Carbice products using the companys defined processes and procedures. This role will have visibility to several areas of the business including Engineering and Sales. The Production Technician will report directly to the Manager of Production or the Director of Operations. Assigned tasks will include (but are not limited to):/pulliEmployee is primarily responsible for executing existing manufacturing processes in a repeatable, reliable manner/liliEventual scope of work includes cutting samples, operating a furnace with computer interface, manual polymer coating in a fume hood, maintain high quality assurance, maintaining documentation, packaging, and shipping/liliResponsibilities will expand over time as training progresses/liliPerform other manufacturing tasks as assigned and trained/liliDocument and communicate status and results as needed/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliMust have 2+ years in manufacturing/production environment 8-hour shift within 6:00 am to 11:00 pm work window with some overtime/weekends when required./liliGood work ethic/liliPunctual/liliCommunicates well/liliAttention to detail/liliGood dexterity/liliQuick learner/liliDependable/liliHigh Integrity/liliTeam player/liliWorks well in a team environment, collaborates with others/liliAbility to work independently, with supervision or in small teams/liliFlexibility with daily responsibilities/liliStrong desire to learn/liliGood problem-solving skills/li/ulpstrongPreferred:/strong/pulliKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work are a plus/liliComfortable with a computer, operation of simple software (i.e., MS Office Suite, basic CAD, executing LabView commands)/liliKnowledge of vacuum and/or semiconductor processing systems, PLC controlled equipment, test equipment, electrical, or pipefitting skills are a plus/liliGood verbal and interpersonal communication skills/li/ulh3Physical Requirements:/h3ulliMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times./liliAbility to travel throughout facility as required/li/ul/div
