Cumulus Media is a leading local media and marketing company serving the Fort Walton Beach/Destin and surrounding Gulf Coast markets. We are seeking a motivated, competitive, and digitally curious Senior Account Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands that modern advertising is no longer one dimensional. You will help businesses grow using an integrated marketing approach that combines the unmatched reach and credibility of radio with advanced digital, data driven advertising solutions. While radio remains at our core, Cumulus Media operates today as a modern marketing organization offering far more than traditional media placements. Because we own both our media platforms and our audience relationships, we can leverage first party data, local insights, and direct distribution channels that most agencies and digital only competitors don't have access to. This allows our Account Executives to compete effectively with local agencies, national platforms, and digital specialistswhile offering solutions that are more comprehensive, more accountable, and more impactful.
Marketing Solutions You'll Represent
Digital display advertising and audience targeting
Streaming audio and podcast advertising
OTT / connected TV advertising
Mobile geofencing and location based marketing
Paid social advertising and content creation
Paid search (Google Ads) and search engine optimization
YouTube and online video advertising
Website design, optimization, and repair
Call tracking, analytics, and attribution tools
Online reputation (review) monitoring and management
DNA Digital (Cumulus' first party, data driven advertising solutions)
Radio advertising as a high impact reach and credibility amplifier
This role focuses on solutions and outcomes, not just selling space or spots.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and local outreach
Build strong relationships with existing and new clients by understanding their business goals and marketing challenges
Create and present integrated advertising solutions that combine radio, digital, and data driven strategies
Prospect aggressively and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business
Negotiate, close, and grow accounts while meeting or exceeding sales goals
Become fluent in Cumulus digital products, audience tools, and analytics
Manage sales activity using CRM tools and follow all corporate and station procedures
Stay informed on local market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging marketing trends
Think creatively and contribute original ideas that help clients succeed
Qualifications:
13 years of media sales, digital advertising, or outside sales experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
Comfortable prospecting and selling new ideas to clients
Digitally savvy with interest in modern marketing solutions
Understanding of lead generation, sales funnels, and pipeline management
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and social platforms
Self motivated, competitive, organized, and goal oriented
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
Pay Range
USD $3,500.00 - USD $4,000.00 /Mo. The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions
