Role Descriptions:
Competencies: Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) - 8+ years experience required

Top 5 Must-Have Skills / Experience
1. Strong Oracle ADF Upgrade Experience (ADF 12c → ADF 14c)
Hands-on experience upgrading Oracle ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments to WebLogic 14.1.2.x.

2. Java Modernization Expertise (JDK 8 → Java 21)
Proven experience remediating deprecated APIs, handling `javax` to `jakarta` migration, JAXB/JTA changes, and upgrading enterprise Java applications to Java 21/GraalVM.

3. WebLogic & Middleware Migration Experience
Deep understanding of WebLogic 12c/14c administration, deployment troubleshooting, JVM tuning (G1GC/ZGC), SSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility, webservice knowledge and OCI-based deployments.

4. Integration & API Upgrade Experience
Experience upgrading and validating REST/SOAP integrations, Jersey migration (1.x/2.x → 3.x), SFTP/SSH integrations, Quartz scheduler, MyBatis, and enterprise middleware components.

5. Enterprise Application Support & Testing Mindset
Strong regression testing, performance benchmarking, production support, and UAT bug-fix experience for mission-critical HR or financial applications in hybrid work environments.

Top 5 Don't-Have / Not Suitable For
1. No Pure Support or Maintenance Profiles
Candidates with only L1/L2 production support experience and no hands-on upgrade/migration development work.

2. No Junior-Level ADF Developers
Candidates without real enterprise-scale Oracle ADF/WebLogic migration experience or exposure to large integrated systems.

3. No Candidates Limited to Legacy Java Versions Only
Candidates who have worked only on Java 6/7/8 maintenance projects without Java 17/21 modernization exposure.

4. No Remote-Only Candidates
Must be comfortable working in hybrid mode and coming to office at least twice a week.

5. No Candidates Without Integration Troubleshooting Experience
Candidates lacking experience in REST/SOAP/SFTP integrations, dependency remediation, SSL/TLS handling, or middleware troubleshooting in enterprise environments.

Essential Skills:
J2EEWebADF applications using any combination of WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere or Tomcat application servers.
o 4-5 years of experience in using Oracle ADF 12c is mandatory
o Strong experience with the following tools Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle SOA, Oracle BPEL
o Strong experience with Oracle PLSQL, SQL, distributed technologies, Frameworks and Application servers
o Analyzing production incidents and identify root cause of issues
o Handling production call for application issues
o Implementing code fixes for enhancements and production issues in Oracle ADF 12c using JDeveloper
o Meeting with Client business analyst to understand requirements
o Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
o Identifies areas for process improvement.
o Explaining the requirements, functionality, design framework to onsite offshore team members
o Provides management with timely communication on status Utilizes appropriate tools and/or develops custom solutions as required to meet objectives.
o Support the solution through deployment and operations
o Strong analytical ability
o Ability to work with all teams and understand code changes and review business requirements and identify any gaps
