Applications are being accepted for the following position:

Assistant Drama Director - High School

Start Date:

2026-2027 School Year

Posting Period:

May 22, 2026 - until filled

Salary:

Based on years of experience as outlined in the CLEA Agreement

Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Assist in producing a fall and spring play
Assist in reviewing and choosing plays
Attend rehearsals
Assist in creating practice and performance schedules
Assist in communicating times for auditions, practices, and other events.
Assist in reviewing and supporting rules for rehearsals/building time as needed
Audition actors
Uphold rules of participation
Plan with the crew (stage manager) the items in storage and those to be sourced for props/sets
Supervise and direct cast and crew during rehearsals, practices, and performances
Assist and train crew with lights and sound
Recruit extra help for shows as needed
Assist in collecting and submitting funds taken in from shows and fundraisers
Assist in organizing timely clean-up post-show (take down sets, etc.)
Other duties as assigned by the Lead Director
