Job Description
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales and business development efforts across the Northeast US region. The role involves managing the sales of an assigned territory and ensuring that sales targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the sales target performance within the Northeast US territory.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share.

Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility through CRM, and deliver results aligned with territory and company goals.

Manage the cost of doing business, including travel expense budget and shipping expenses within revenue expectation guidelines.

Analyze sales data, monitor regional performance, and forecast revenue to adjust strategies.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in verticals such as corporate, higher education, government, military, oil & gas, healthcare, houses of worship, and transportation.

Understand territory‑specific trends, buyer behaviour, and competitor activity to adjust outreach approaches.

Collaborate with internal teams such as product management, marketing, and customer care to align on territory needs.

Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and resolve customer concerns.

Attend regional and national trade shows, conferences, and partner events.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the company's product portfolio and market trends.

Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast sales, and report on activity.

Frequently travel on‑site to customer locations, with up to 50% domestic and international travel.

Location: Remote with 50% travel. Candidates should reside in one of the listed territories within reasonable distance to a major airport - NJ, NY, MA, NH, CT, RI, VT, ME.

Required experience and skills:

5+ years of successful sales experience in the ProAV industry with field sales responsibility of at least 5 million dollars.

Strong knowledge of AV integration, signal management, and display solutions.

Proven ability to manage a large geographic territory and travel as needed (up to 50%).

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Self‑starter with high initiative and ability to work independently.

Preferred experience:

Ability to navigate long sales cycles, aligning technical capabilities with customer pain points.

Deep knowledge of regional channel dynamics, distributor strengths, and competitive positioning.

Awareness of project bids, RFPs, and dealer programs in the AV channel.

Capability to assess customer environments and recommend appropriate solutions.

Exceptional verbal communication skills for engaging end users, integrators, and C‑level decision makers.
