This is a rare opportunity to shape a show that reflects the energy, diversity, and innovation of the Bay Area. We’re seeking a producer who understands the local market and how audiences consume news across both linear and digital platforms and who isn’t afraid to challenge the traditional format. Craft compelling, high-impact rundowns that resonate with Bay Area viewers

Drive aggressive, responsive breaking news coverage with urgency, accuracy, and strong editorial judgment
Produce dynamic, polished live broadcasts under tight deadlines without compromising accuracy
Develop and deliver stories in new, creative, and distinctive ways
Make smart, timely editorial decisions in high-pressure situations
Collaborate closely with reporters, anchors, digital teams, and assignment editors
Integrate digital and social elements to enhance storytelling and audience reach
Help define the voice, pace, and style of a brand-new newscast
What We’re Looking For:
A strong understanding of the Bay Area—its communities, issues, and audiences
A producer who thinks beyond linear, with a clear grasp of digital-first and streaming strategies
An innovative storyteller who knows how to push boundaries and reimagine how news is presented
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, breaking news environment with constant deadlines
Proven skill in producing clean, compelling, and accurate live broadcasts under pressure
Exceptional writing skills with a commitment to clarity, accuracy, and credibility
